De Bezaan is een inclusief woonproject voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking en\/of autisme in Gistel. Er wonen 8 mensen met een beperking en 2 vrijwillige residenten, die voor hen een aanspreekpunt zijn. Het woonproject is een initiatief van Vzw Ithaka. De Bezaan bestaat intussen 5 jaar. AZ Damiaan organiseerde in december vorig jaar in samenwerking met VIP Fit uit Gistel een spinning ten v<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">oordele van de Bezaan. Een hele dag lang konden sportievelingen zich in het zweet werken voor het goede doel. \u2019s Morgens was er ook een ontbijt. De opbrengst zal gebruikt worden om het gebouw verder te onderhouden en om een groepsweekend naar de Ardennen mee te bekostigen.
